Deron Nardo
Born and raised in Yardley, PA, Deron's love of the outdoors took shape during vacations snowboarding in Vermont and summers spent on the beaches of Avalon, New Jersey. Since receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola College in Maryland, Deron has made every effort to feel unsettled in life. Among the places he has spent chunks of his life are Sun Valley, Idaho, Denver, Colorado, and 2 stints in Charlotte, North Carolina, the first of which was marred by three years wearing a suit and tie in a sales role at IKON Office Solutions. He currently lives in Charlotte with his dog, Fiya, who in eight short months has proven to be his favorite conversationalist. Forays into the freelance writing world landed Deron in Charlotte Magazine and on WFAE as an NPR commentator. He is currently working on a series of poems and short fiction stories based on the life and achievements of Kurt Lewis.
